Quality Assurance of future hip and knee implants

In co-operation with researchers from Aarhus University, Aarhus University Hospital and Aalborg University Hospital, NRT will head the development of an integrated diagnostic imaging platform which will bring qua­lity assurance of new artificial implants and surgical techniques a giant step forward. The technology will increase patient safety, durability and functionality of implants, and reduce the number of expensive hip and knee revisions. The project is co-financed by the Danish National Advanced Technology Foundation and is expected to give Denmark a leading position within this field.
